Job summary
Talent Link is seeking experienced Geotechnical Engineers (Offshore) across Senior, Principal, Associate, and Chief levels to join our Ground Engineering team in the UK. The roles cover prestigious offshore and infrastructure projects across energy, rail, highways, water, renewables, carbon capture and nuclear sectors.
Responsibilities for Senior/Principal Geotechnical Engineer (Offshore) include leading complex offshore projects, foundation design, numerical analysis validation, and mentoring
Qualifications
- Relevant degree with MSc or PhD preferred.
- Chartered status or working towards.
- Proven geotechnical analysis and design experience with strong offshore focus.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex offshore geotechnical projects with minimal supervision.
- Lead offshore foundation design including monopiles, jacket foundations, suction caissons, driveability, cable burial trenchability, and deep-water anchoring.
- Undertake and validate advanced geotechnical numerical analysis and model calibration.
- Apply advanced constitutive soil models, soil-structure interaction, and numerical modelling software including FLAC and PLAXIS 2D/3D.
- Manage geotechnical numerical analysis within interdisciplinary project environments.
- Support and mentor colleagues to develop understanding of advanced geotechnical principles.
