The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust in West Essex seeks a Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join and lead the therapies team across six wards, supervising 11 staff and working within the integrated medicine service.

You will deliver high quality, client-centred OT for medical and neurology patients, develop complex treatment plans, lead clinical governance, supervise students, and support professional development through CPD.

Qualifications

• Registered Occupational Therapist with HCPC.
• Experience leading clinical teams.
• Experience with neurology and acute medical patients.

Responsabilités

• Lead OT staff across medicine and neurology with complex cases.
• Provide high-quality OT assessments for medical and neurology patients.
• Develop collaborative treatment plans with patients, carers and colleagues.
• Lead clinical governance, quality assurance and CPD initiatives.
• Educate OT students on practice placements and supervise junior staff.
• Ensure accurate records and contribute to service development.
