Job summary

East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust invites applications for a Team Lead Occupational Therapist in the Integrated Discharge Team based at the Conquest site. You will lead clinical delivery, supervise OT staff, and drive governance and recruitment alongside the Therapy Lead.

You will develop service provision in acute care, support discharge planning, collaborate with multi-disciplinary colleagues, and shape the workforce model for future service delivery within IDT.

Qualifications

• Registered Occupational Therapist with post-qualification experience.
• Proven leadership and staff supervision abilities.
• Experience in governance, CPD, and appraisal processes.
• Strong collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams in acute settings.

Responsibilities

• Undertake clinical OT duties for acute care and discharge planning.
• Provide line management for the OT team within IDT on the Conquest site.
• Support recruitment, appraisal, CPD and adherence to Trust policies.
