Job summary

Athona Ltd. is seeking an experienced Lead Occupational Therapist to join a forensic mental health service in Surrey. You will lead an OT team, manage complex caseloads, and deliver evidence-based, person-centred interventions to support rehabilitation and independence.

Qualifications

• Registered Occupational Therapist with current professional registration.
• Minimum three years post-qualifying experience.
• Experience using psychometric and risk assessment tools.
• Experience supervising and supporting junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support care pathways.
• Coordinate occupational therapy treatment plans and interventions.
• Maintain accurate records of patient rehabilitation and progress.
• Provide supervision and management to junior therapists.
• Support clinical teamwork through staff training programs.
• Complete assessments and deliver individual and group interventions.
• Develop patients' living skills and meaningful activities.
