Courtyard Surgery in rural Wiltshire is seeking a Lead Nurse Independent Prescriber to lead the nursing team and shape clinical services. The role offers Band 7 equivalent pay with 22–28 hours per week across 3–4 days, located in West Lavington near Devizes.

You will oversee LTC management, vaccinations, cervical cytology, team leadership, infection control, and compliance, with a focus on sustainable workload and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Lead the nursing team and service with protected time for clinical leadership.
• Independent prescriber status is desirable but not essential.

Lead Nurse Independent Prescriber - Courtyard Surgery

Courtyard Surgery is a highly regarded rural family practice serving approximately 3,300 patients in beautiful rural Wiltshire. We are looking for an experienced lead Practice Nurse and independent prescriber if possible, to lead our nursing team and shape our clinical services.

You will deliver LTC management, all vaccinations, cervical cytology, team management, support QOF and LCS delivery, oversee infection control and compliance activities.
