You will work collaboratively with Merseycare Mental Health Team, Change Grow Live (recovery staff), and HMPPS staff to ensure the best possible care is provided to the patients.

Please note, the £1500 Welcome Payment is payable to new staff joining Spectrum only.

As a Lead Nurse, your role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities and leadership such as:

  1. Shift coordination – overseeing staffing levels and production of rotas.
  2. Participating in audits
  3. Management of junior members of staff
  4. Supporting multi-disciplinary team’s such as:
  5. Diabetic retinopathy screening
  6. AAA screening
  7. Ultrasounds and X-Rays
  8. Medication rounds and dispensing
  9. Emergency response situations
  10. Patient assessments
  11. Nurse-led clinics, such as:
  12. NHS Health Checks
  13. Immunisations and Vaccinations
  14. NHS Bowel Screening
  15. Phlebotomy clinics
  16. Wound and Tissue Viability assessments.
  17. Assessing new patients who have just arrived at the establishment for the first time.
  18. Complete clinical assessments
  19. Triaging the acutely unwell patients
