Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking an experienced Charge Nurse for the Acute General Medicine Ward 6A at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow. This permanent role involves 36 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern, including day and night shifts to support ward needs.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, oversee care delivery, and ensure safe discharge while upholding NHSGGC standards. Provides opportunities for development and a supportive employee experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate leadership and organisational skills to support the ward and cover in the absence of the Senior Charge Nurse.
