Job summary
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde invites applications for a Registered Nurse to provide clinical leadership in Ward 43, Glasgow Royal Infirmary, delivering compassionate care to cardiology patients across acute care, rehabilitation and discharge planning. The role requires taking charge within a busy unit, mentoring junior staff, and coordinating patient flow.
Rotational day and night shifts, permanent post, 36 hours per week, with visa sponsorship consideration as per policy.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Experience in acute clinical environments.
- Experience caring for cardiology patients.
- Experience providing clinical leadership within a nursing team.
- Ability to take charge and coordinate delivery of patient care.
- Awareness of Once for Scotland policies and staff development.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership to the nursing team within the acute cardiology unit.
- Lead and coordinate the delivery of patient care to ensure optimal flow.
- Act as a role model, provide specialist knowledge and advise, and support Senior Charge Nurses.
- Contribute to care assurance and staff wellbeing and development.
