Job summary

Island of Jersey is recruiting for a Registered Nurse to join the Maison des Amis nursing unit. The role is full-time (37.5 hours weekly) with shift work, weekends and on-call duties.

You will provide clinical leadership of nursing tasks for adults with learning disabilities and/or complex care, oversee budget and resources, and drive evidence-based nursing practice to ensure safe, person-centred care for residents.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Knowledge of learning disability and/or complex care.
• Experience in nursing leadership and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership of nursing tasks for adults with learning disabilities and/or complex care.
• Oversee budget and resources for the unit.
• Develop and implement evidence-based nursing practice.
• Ensure delivery of safe, person-centred nursing care to residents.

Job description

A fantastic opportunity to work for an Investors in People Gold accredited organisation, within our new & exciting Maison des Amis nursing unit.

Working within a small but busy unit with 5 rooms providing clinical leadership of nursing tasks for adults with learning disabilities and/or associated conditions, including responsibility for clinical standards, budget & resource oversight & the development & implementation of evidence based nursing practice.
Accountable for the effective management of the nursing & clinical staff team. Ensuring delivery of safe, person centred nursing care to residents/service users.

The position is 37.5hrs p/w & requires shift work, weekends & on call duties.
Salary Grade 5
Essential; Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
