Job summary

Meridian Space UK Limited seeks an experienced NTN Stack SW Architect to own middleware, automation, and interfaces between the LEO constellation OSS/NMS/NOC and a 5G Core. You will design cloud-native microservices, secure architectures, and scalable platform integrations for sovereign connectivity.

In this leadership role you will mentor engineers, drive architecture reviews, and collaborate with systems engineers and customers to deliver a cohesive, high-assurance network management solution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of professional software engineering experience focusing on middleware, automation, and interfaces for large OSS/NMS/NOC platforms.
• Expertise in cloud-based microservices and modern software tools for network management platforms.
• Proven experience integrating cloud-native services with 3GPP 5G Core networks using secure frameworks.
• Strong cybersecurity design principles for satellite and large cellular networks.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, Linux development environments, and code analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with mentoring ability.

Responsibilities

• Design middleware, automation frameworks, and interfaces connecting OSS/NMS/NOC to 5G Core networks and external platforms.
• Architect cloud-native microservices for large-scale software management platforms to enable network orchestration.
• Design and implement robust security layers and cybersecurity architectures for cross-boundary integration.
• Lead software engineers, perform code reviews, and drive engineering excellence.
• Implement software solutions adhering to performance, security, and maintainability goals.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering and telecom experts for seamless integration.
• Participate in architecture reviews, planning, and technology selection.
• Interface with customers and partners to provide integration support and drive feature development.
• Contribute to platform roadmaps and long-term technology strategies.
