Job summary

Arabelle Solutions is seeking a Lead Non-Destructive Testing Engineer to drive NDE strategies across its products, services and manufacturing. You will interpret customer and internal requirements, review NDE specifications and support development of inspection techniques.

You will lead specialist NDE activities, develop supplier capability for nuclear components, investigate non-conformances, and mentor early career engineers while collaborating with global teams across Europe, Asia and Africa.

Qualifications

• ISO 9712 Level III accreditation is essential; range of techniques for surface and volumetric inspection.
• A degree qualification in non-destructive testing is desirable.
• Demonstrated experience as an established NDT engineer is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist technical support in NDE across all products and assist Engineering Design, Manufacturing and Supply Chain.
• Develop and qualify new suppliers of Nuclear components (including large forgings, casting and fabrications).
• Contribute to investigation of non-conformances.
• Maintain and review NDE specifications.
• Communicate with suppliers and customers to support business objectives.
• Review supplier inspection techniques for compliance with applied standards.

Job description

As a Lead Non-Destructive Testing Engineer, you will support Arabelle Solutions Products, Services and Manufacturing on NDE techniques and procedures, understanding customer and internal requirements, reviewing and assessing NDE specifications (internal and from suppliers) and supporting development of inspection techniques.

Main Duties

• Provide specialist technical support in NDE across all products, and provide assistance to Engineering Design, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain activities
• Develop and qualify new suppliers of Nuclear components (including large forgings, casting and fabrications)
• Contribute to the investigation of non-conformances
• Maintain and review NDE specifications
• Communicate with suppliers and customers to support the business objectives
• Review supplier inspection techniques for compliance with applied standards
• Support the development of inspection techniques
• Support the development of early careers Engineers.

Required Competences

Education Accreditation to ISO 9712 to Level III in a range of techniques for surface and volumetric inspection appropriate to the products and manufacturing methods of Arabelle Solutions is essential. A degree qualification in non-destructive testing and examination is desirable.
