Job summary

Arabelle Solutions is seeking a Lead Non-Destructive Testing Engineer to drive NDE strategies across products, services and manufacturing in the UK. You will review customer and internal requirements, assess NDE specifications and support development of inspection techniques to meet quality and safety standards.

• ISO 9712 Level III accreditation is essential.

Job description

As a Lead Non-Destructive Testing Engineer, you will support Arabelle Solutions Products, Services and Manufacturing on NDE techniques and procedures, understanding customer and internal requirements, reviewing and assessing NDE specifications (internal and from suppliers) and supporting development of inspection techniques.Main DutiesProvide specialist technical support in NDE across all products, and provide assistance to Engineering Design, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain activitiesDevelop and qualify new suppliers of Nuclear components (including large forgings, casting and fabrications)Contribute to the investigation of non-conformancesMaintain and review NDE specificationsCommunicate with suppliers and customers to support the business objectivesReview supplier inspection techniques for compliance with applied standardsSupport the development of inspection techniquesSupport the development of early careers Engineers.Required CompetencesEducationAccreditation to ISO 9712 to Level III in a range of techniques for surface and volumetric inspection appropriate to the products and manufacturing methods of Arabelle Solutions is essential.A degree qualification in non-destructive testing and examination is desirable.ExperienceDemonstrated experience as an established NDT engineerJoin us and work with global teams to support global customers !
