Job summary

The Forum School and Residential Home, part of Cambian Group, is seeking a Night Support Worker to provide guidance, support and a safe environment for young people aged 7–19 with special needs. The role requires compassionate, professional conduct and teamwork.

You will work waking night shifts, weekends and bank holidays, maintain records, report on welfare, and help with daily living tasks while promoting a positive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience working with young people with special needs or disabilities.
• DBS and safeguarding checks will be carried out in line with government regulations.
• Ability to work flexibly in a 24/7 residential care setting.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support Night Support Workers to maintain a safe, clean and caring environment.
• Assist residents with personal care and welfare needs, reporting as required.
• Document accurate records and contribute to medical audits and reviews.
• Promote positive behaviour management and active participation in activities both indoors and outdoors.
• Liaise with staff and management to ensure health, safety and welfare of young people.
