A leading international non-profit seeks a Lead .NET Developer to shape a custom portal using .NET and C#. The role offers remote work flexibility with occasional meet-ups. You'll mentor developers, manage external teams, and focus on security and performance optimization. Join a mission-driven organization improving sustainability across global supply chains.
Lead .Net Developer
£70,000 – £80,000 + benefits.
Work fully remotely with just a few meet-ups in the North West to keep things personal. You'll have the flexibility to fit work around your life, not the other way round.
You'll get the chance to shape the software from the ground up, making decisions that actually stick. Plus, you’ll mentor other developers and pass on your knowledge, helping to build a stronger, smarter global team around you.
You'll also manage a third-party development team, making sure you get what you ask for without paying over the odds. It’s a chance to flex both your technical and leadership skills.
What you'll do
You'll be hands-on with developing and maintaining a custom portal using .NET and C#. You’ll optimise performance and scalability to handle high traffic and design RESTful APIs for smooth data exchange.
Working with Azure Container Apps and DevOps pipelines, you’ll drive continuous integration and deployment. You’ll also keep the Azure AD B2C setup running smoothly and connect new applications as needed.
Security will be a big focus too, making sure everything meets industry standards. You’ll automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and use Docker for efficient deployment. Testing and deployment automation will also be part of what you do to keep things reliable.
You'll work with teams across different locations and time zones, influencing architectural decisions and driving best practices in cloud infrastructure and security.
What you'll need
A degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Information Systems will also be useful.
