Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to shape the mobile technology landscape. You will define and orchestrate complex architectures across product, engineering and architecture teams, guiding delivery to be secure, resilient and scalable.

You will lead end-to-end mobile initiatives, create roadmaps, evaluate options, balance short‑term delivery with long‑term platform health, and advocate common patterns and standards across mobile teams.

Qualifications

• Significant experience designing and leading end-to-end solution architectures across platforms and environments.
• Strong knowledge of mobile architecture principles across Android and iOS with API integration.
• Experience shaping architectural roadmaps and communicating trade-offs to diverse stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of security, risk management and operational readiness.
• Experience in Agile delivery and cross-functional partnership with product and engineering teams.
• Ability to influence decisions and provide technical leadership in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture for complex mobile initiatives across apps, services and platforms.
• Create architecture roadmaps, designs and options to enable rapid delivery.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineering Leads and Enterprise Architects to align priorities and plans.
• Embed secure-by-design and resilient-by-design principles from discovery to live service.
• Identify architectural risks, debt and dependencies while balancing short-term delivery and long-term health.
• Promote common patterns, reusable capabilities and engineering standards across mobile teams.
