Job summary

Priority Pass is seeking a Mobile Squad Lead Engineer to guide a small team of 5–7 engineers while writing code daily. You will shape mobile architecture, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product and UX to deliver mobile-first features across Android and iOS.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with mobile development
• Proven experience leading a small mobile team
• Strong hands-on mobile coding in Android and iOS
• Experience with REST/GraphQL and cloud services
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and app store releases
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and automated testing
• Observability and analytics mindset for mobile apps
• Solid collaboration with product and UX teams

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of native Android and iOS apps ensuring quality and architecture
• Provide technical leadership on mobile architecture, code quality, performance and security
• Remain hands-on with coding and code reviews to maintain high standards
• Collaborate with backend engineers to design robust APIs
• Mentor and coach engineers to enable growth and ownership
• Own build, release, deployment processes including CI/CD and stores
• Champion automated testing and app reliability, with observability practices
