Job description

About the role

Could you use your midwifery experience to make a meaningful difference for women, babies and families who need additional support? Join the Jane Crookall Maternity Unit as an Enhanced Care Midwife, providing compassionate, trauma-informed care across hospital and community settings.

Working closely with maternity, safeguarding, mental health and social care professionals, you’ll help coordinate personalised care for people experiencing complex psychosocial needs, mental health concerns, domestic abuse, substance misuse or other challenges affecting maternal and neonatal wellbeing. You’ll advocate for informed choice, build trusting relationships and ensure families feel supported throughout the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal journey.

Alongside delivering high-quality midwifery care, you’ll provide safeguarding advice, contribute to training and support audit, governance and service improvement. This is a rewarding opportunity to combine your clinical expertise with your commitment to safeguarding and person-centred care.
