Job summary

Methods is recruiting a Principal Microsoft Fabric Architect to join our team on a permanent basis. The role is mainly remote, with travel to client sites and our London and Sheffield offices.

You will lead the data architecture across transformation programmes, setting standards and guiding multiple workstreams. You will mentor senior engineers, drive data platform excellence, and champion data governance and security across projects.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Fabric architecture, governance, and data platforms.
• Experience leading data architecture across modern and legacy systems.
• Ability to translate business needs into actionable data roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior technical authority for the data programme.
• Define technical direction, priorities, and standards.
• Lead architecture reviews and governance forums.
• Design end-to-end data solutions and migration strategies.
• Mentor architects and engineers, uplift team capability.
