Job summary

Crown House Technologies (CHt), part of Laing O’Rourke, is seeking a Senior MEP Commercial Manager to own major MEP packages on the Hinkley Point C project in the UK. You will drive governance, risk management and commercial performance, collaborating with project leadership, clients and supply chain partners to deliver robust controls.

With proven senior experience in MEP commercial delivery and NEC contract knowledge, you will lead live subcontract packages, manage variations and claims, and

Qualifications

• Proven senior commercial management experience within the MEP sector.
• Experience managing large, complex MEP packages and live subcontracts.
• Strong NEC contract knowledge and governance experience.
• Ability to lead and influence commercial teams and project stakeholders.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management; RICS desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial management of major MEP packages, driving performance, governance and profitability.
• Manage live subcontract packages, including commercial performance, change, valuations and final accounts.
• Monitor package performance, costs and delivery, identifying issues early.
• Lead risk management and mitigation for emerging issues.
• Oversee commercial governance, reporting and processes.
• Manage change control, variations and negotiations to protect entitlement.
• Monitor labour costs and related commercial impacts.
• Provide cost reporting, forecasting and senior leadership insight.
• Mentor and develop the Commercial team and relationships with clients and subcontractors.
