Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is recruiting a time-served Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a busy gas processing facility near Brigg. You will step into a 1st Line Supervisor position, overseeing day-to-day engineering activity and leading a small team while maintaining plant reliability and regulatory compliance.

The role requires experience with pressure systems, valves, pumps and tank maintenance, plus fault-finding skills. Prior supervisory exposure is preferred; FLT licence is desirable.

Qualifications

• Time-served mechanical engineer with apprenticeship/qualification.
• Experience with gas processing/industrial plants.
• Understanding of PSSR and pressure systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant equipment and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead day-to-day engineering activities on site.
• Inspect and maintain valves, tanks, pumps and related equipment.
• Support reliability and reduce downtime.
• Oversee inspections and safe operations.
