Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (Masters preferred).
• 12+ years in engineering, preferably medical device or regulated industry.
• 3+ years as technical or project lead.
• Strong 3D CAD experience, preferably SolidWorks.
• Proficient in technical drawings and GD&T.
• Familiarity with design control systems and change control.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage 3D CAD data and 2D manufacturing drawings for prototypes and production.
• Inspect, verify and test components and sub-assemblies.
• Perform engineering calculations and finite element analysis as required (FEA).
• Manage external suppliers and design resources; produce reports and design documents.
• Lead and mentor team members; participate in technical reviews and project meetings.
• Communicate design rationale clearly to engineers, PMs and non-specialists.
