Job summary

SES Engineering Services, in the Northwest, seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead and deliver complex mechanical packages. You will provide leadership across design, procurement, and commissioning, while guiding and developing junior engineers within a collaborative team.

You will manage on-site delivery with safety and quality at the forefront, coordinating with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to achieve project success and sustained customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience leading mechanical engineering teams and projects.
• Strong project delivery across design, procurement, commissioning.
• Ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical services engineering elements of projects from pre-construction through to completion, including design management, procurement, technical reviews, and commissioning activities.
• Take ownership of the mechanical package delivery on site, ensuring works are completed safely, to the highest quality standards, on programme, and within budget.
• Provide technical leadership and expertise across all stages of project delivery, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve engineering challenges and drive project success.
• Lead, mentor, and develop mechanical engineers and project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence.
• Ensure effective integration of mechanical services with the wider MEP and construction teams, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
