Job summary

SES Engineering Services is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the Northwest team, delivering technically complex Mechanical and Electrical projects across the Northwest region. This role offers leadership opportunities and a path to career progression within a diverse and supportive team.

You will provide visible leadership, oversee design management and on-site delivery, and collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical services engineering elements of projects from pre-construction through to completion, including design management, procurement, technical reviews, and commissioning activities.
• Take ownership of the mechanical package delivery on site, ensuring works are completed safely, to the highest quality standards, on programme, and within budget.
• Provide technical leadership and expertise across all stages of project delivery, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve engineering challenges and drive project success.
• Lead, mentor, and develop mechanical engineers and project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence.
• Ensure effective integration of mechanical services with the wider MEP and construction teams, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
