Job summary

iO Associates is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design and development of advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment in Clevedon. This role offers technical leadership, mentorship, and responsibility from concept through production.

You will ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance while working with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time; Chartered status is preferred; experience with vacuum systems and SEMI standards is desirable.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Strong mechanical design experience in a complex engineering environment.
• Experience leading engineering teams or technical projects.
• Knowledge of regulated engineering environments and product compliance.
• Experience with design reviews, FMEA, HAZOP, risk assessments, or similar methodologies.
