Job summary
Natural Resources Wales is seeking a senior lead for marine water quality modelling to shape NRW’s programme, set strategy, and drive policy-aligned modelling across Wales. You will guide complex projects, manage resources, and liaise with Welsh Government and partners to secure improvements in marine water quality.

Qualifications
- Knowledge of Welsh, UK and EU environmental regulation relating to marine water quality.
- Extensive experience in developing and applying marine water quality modelling for regulation and planning.
- Advanced knowledge of marine water quality modelling software and its application to assess environmental impacts.
Responsibilities
- Lead and project manage complex issues in marine water quality modelling.
- Provide statutory and technical advice to Welsh Government and UK bodies.
- Mentor colleagues and build capability in marine modelling across NRW.
- Represent NRW as a technical authority on marine water quality modelling.
