Job summary

Polytec Personnel Ltd is seeking a hands-on Lead Manufacturing Technician for our client near Royston to build, test and improve advanced electromechanical products while leading a team of technicians.

You will drive quality, safety and productivity targets, troubleshoot manufacturing and product issues, and develop assembly processes and documentation in collaboration with engineering and production colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or production technician role.
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong electromechanical assembly and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail.
• Full UK driving licence.
