Job summary

Gold Group Limited is seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead a busy commercial framework delivering water and mains installation works for Thames Water across London and surrounding regions. The role focuses on managing a large number of live jobs, driving commercial performance and teamwork to ensure accurate reporting.

The successful candidate will oversee a team of Quantity Surveyors, with day-to-day commercial management, cost control, and strong liaison with Thames Water and other

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing a team of quantity surveyors.
• Strong CVR and monthly forecasting abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management with Thames Water and others.
• Good understanding of construction/infrastructure contracts.
• Ability to manage high volume, low-value works.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day commercial management of the framework.
• Lead and develop a team of Quantity Surveyors.
• Oversee commercial management of a high volume of live works.
• Manage subcontractor accounts and final accounts.
• Review costs, valuations and applications for payment.
• Produce accurate monthly CVRs and commercial reports.
• Forecast turnover, margin and cash flow.
• Manage risk, change and commercial opportunities.
• Identify ways to improve margins and commercial performance.
• Maintain relationships with Thames Water and stakeholders.
• Ensure Thames Water contract terms are understood and administered.
• Support team with commercial and contractual issues.
