Qualifications

• Qualified Engineering Craftsperson (typically HNC level) or Graduate Engineer.
• Several years' experience in an engineering maintenance or manufacturing environment.
• Strong practical knowledge of engineering principles and maintenance practices.
• Proven ability to diagnose, repair, and support complex plant and equipment issues.
• Experience supervising and coordinating personnel to ensure engineering work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Strong understanding of safe systems of work and health and safety requirements within an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering craft teams and contractors to support manufacturing and site operations.
• Plan and allocate engineering resources, labour, materials, and maintenance activities to meet operational requirements.
• Carry out and oversee preventative maintenance, fault finding, inspections, and emergency repairs on plant and equipment.
• Provide technical expertise to diagnose complex equipment issues and minimise downtime.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance plant reliability and maintenance practices.
• Support training and development of engineering and production teams.
