Job summary
Tata Steel UK is seeking a Technical Maintenance Engineer to lead maintenance activities at the Trostre site, coordinating engineering craft teams and contractors to keep manufacturing operations running.
You will drive planned preventative maintenance, diagnose faults, improve equipment reliability, and ensure health, safety and process safety compliance.

Qualifications
- Sound practical engineering knowledge with relevant industry experience.
- Qualified craftsperson (typically HNC level) or degree-qualified engineer.
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial or heavy engineering environments.
- Ability to supervise and coordinate engineering personnel and contractors.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering craft teams and contractors to deliver safe and efficient maintenance activities.
- Develop and coordinate planned preventative maintenance schedules.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, statutory, and process safety requirements.
- Diagnose and resolve complex equipment faults to minimise downtime.
- Allocate engineering resources, materials and contract labour to meet operations.
- Monitor maintenance performance, quality standards and budget expenditure.
- Drive continuous improvement of engineering practices and processes.
- Develop and deliver training to engineering and operational teams.
