Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Lead Maintenance Engineer / Team Leader for a days-based role at a fast-paced manufacturing site near Bedford. You will lead hands-on maintenance on electro-mechanical equipment and mentor one engineer, while coordinating with the Manufacturing Manager to improve reliability and reduce downtime.

The role offers a competitive £45,000 - £50,000 salary with training, development, progression, and 25 days holiday.

Qualifications

• Multiskilled maintenance background within manufacturing / production / industrial environments
• Previous lead / supervisory experience

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on maintenance across a high-volume manufacturing site (PPMs, reactive breakdowns, fault finding and repairs)
• Electrical fault finding on PLC-controlled systems, VSDs, motor control circuits, sensors and three-phase power
• Mechanical maintenance on gearboxes, conveyors, pneumatics and hydraulics
• Mentor / supervise one engineer and support day-to-day prioritisation with the Manufacturing Manager
