Odin Recruitment Group is seeking a Lead Maintenance Engineer for a heavy industrial site in the UK. You will lead a small team and stay hands-on with electrical fault finding while driving planned maintenance to maximise plant reliability.
The role operates on a Monday–Friday day pattern with 1 in 3 weekend on-call rota and an early finish on Fridays; weekend on-call is compensated separately and there is no regular weekend working.
£50,000 to £52,000 Basic Salary + Bonus

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Lead Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established heavy industrial manufacturing business specialising in metal treatment and the production of specialist building and construction products.
The site operates 24/7, 365 days a year, supplying products to a range of sectors including automotive, engineering, construction and wider industrial manufacturing.
As Lead Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, availability and performance of plant and machinery across the site. You will lead a small engineering team consisting of two Maintenance Engineers and one Apprentice Engineer, providing day-to-day technical leadership, support and guidance while remaining hands‑on with electrical fault finding, planned maintenance and breakdown response.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking to progress into a leadership role, while remaining technically hands‑on.
