Job summary

Elix Sourcing Solutions is seeking a Lead Maintenance Engineer in the United Kingdom to lead the maintenance team and ensure safe, efficient operation of site facilities. The role runs Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:30pm with an on‑call rota.

Qualifications

• Instrumentation qualification – Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems.
• 4–5 years' supervisory maintenance experience.
• Experience in oil & gas or similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control systems.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting the Maintenance Team

Are you an experienced Lead Maintenance Engineer ready to take the next step in your career?

Our client is looking for a Lead Maintenance Engineer to join their team, providing hands‑on maintenance expertise while supporting the day-to-day running of the Maintenance Department.

You’ll be responsible for supervising maintenance activities, supporting technicians and contractors, ensuring high Health & Safety standards, and helping to keep site facilities operating safely and efficiently.

The Role

The Candidate

• 4-5 years' relevant maintenance experience in a supervisory capacity
• Experience within oil & gas or a similar industry
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control systems
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong problem‑solving ability
• Proactive, reliable and able to work under pressure
