Our client is a family-run FMCG organisation that has been trading for over 30 years and has grown from strength to strength. They are now looking to hire a Lead Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

Your Role:

As a Lead Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:

• Leading and managing a team of 2-3 maintenance technicians
• Training and mentoring your team
• Overseeing and conducting PPMs and reactive maintenance
• Attending breakdowns
• Electrical & mechanical fault finding on PLCs, motors, production lines, control panels, and conveyors
• Getting involved in ongoing site projects & continuous improvement
• Engaging with H&S protocols and making changes where required

Candidate Requirements:

• Apprenticeship qualified, equivalent, or qualified by experience
• Proven track record working as a Senior / Lead Engineer in a manufacturing environment
• Proven track record with high-speed processing machinery
• Proven track record with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, electrical fault finding, and control panels
• Flexible and open to working weekends when required

• Electrically biased (desirable)
