Job description

We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team in a Lead Maintenance role. This is a Full-time position working Monday to Friday, 0800-1630.

In this role, you will:

  1. Lead a multi-disciplinary team to provide the village with efficient and effective maintenance services, ensuring that facilities and grounds are fit for purpose and provide a safe environment for all.
  2. Complete the planned preventative maintenance and refurbishment programme by working with the Ryman Property team and Facilities Manager.
  3. Be a health & safety champion by ensuring all health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to by staff and contractors, always providing a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
  4. Form strong relationships and work closely with and support your team and colleagues.

About You

To thrive in our supportive and caring environment, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a lead Maintenance role (trade qualifications are an advantage but not essential).
  • Ability to lead a motivated and productive team and a varied contractor and supplier base.
  • Sound problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with experience in producing periodic maintenance and H&S reports.
  • A reliable, friendly, and professional manner.
