Job summary

Selby Jennings in London is seeking an Associate Director-Vice President for Corporate Development M&A within a private equity-backed Business Services platform.

You will lead acquisitions globally, build financial models, manage due diligence, prepare Board materials, support post-acquisition integration, and work directly with senior leadership to drive growth and strategic initiatives. This is a high-ownership role with exposure to CEO and shareholders.

Qualifications

• Background in corporate development within PE-backed platforms or investment banking M&A.
• Experience building and presenting investment cases to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead acquisitions across the full lifecycle from target evaluation to completion and integration.
• Build financial models, valuation analyses and investment cases.
• Manage due diligence processes and coordinate advisers.
• Prepare Board, Executive Committee and shareholder materials.
• Support post-acquisition integration and strategic initiatives.
• Develop relationships with founders, management teams and industry participants.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic growth initiatives.
