Job summary

Castrol is recruiting a Lubricants Senior Technologist for the UK Technology Centre in Reading. You will join the Technology Deployment Team, interfacing with Global R&D, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, manufacturing and OEM technology groups to turn product innovation into commercially successful solutions for Europe.

This highly collaborative role combines deep technical expertise with commercial awareness, enabling shaping of new lubricant technologies and driving their introduction across

Qualifications

Degree in chemistry, engineering or closely related technical discipline.
Strong knowledge of lubricants, formulations and automotive applications.
Experience taking ownership of formulation programmes from development to deployment.

Responsibilities

Lead deployment of new lubricant formulations and products across European markets.
Translate customer requirements into technical requirements for development teams.
Embed QA processes across plants and conduct QA assessments with external partners.
Act as a key technical interface between development, marketing, sales and supply chain.
Coordinate specifications, blending, trials and formulation approvals.
