Job summary

Future Select Recruitment is seeking a knowledgeable Lead Legionella Risk Assessor to join a growing water hygiene team in Watford. You will oversee Legionella risk assessments, audit reports, and supervise a small team, ensuring high technical standards and client satisfaction.

The role requires City and Guilds WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessing, solid ACOP L8/HSG 274 knowledge, and proven leadership. You will train staff, conduct performance reviews, and maintain strong client relationships

Qualifications

• Experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor Supervisor.
• City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing.
• Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines.
• Proven experience leading / overseeing teams.
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing successful completion of Legionella Risk Assessments within a growing company.
• Auditing and quality checking completed reports.
• Providing training and support to Legionella Risk Assessors.
• Carrying out performance reviews with Risk Assessors.
• Conducting legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems.
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients.
• Troubleshooting issues on site.
• Creating detailed risk assessment reports and schematic drawings.
• Ensuring works are completed within agreed timeframes.
• Keeping up-to-date with industry guidelines.
