Horizon School in Lowestoft is seeking a Lead Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team. The role supports pupils who require targeted intervention and works to identify barriers to engagement with education. We welcome applicants who can contribute positively to a caring, high-expectations environment.
The post is permanent, 35 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (job share considered). Salary is £28,142 - £29,540 per annum (pro rata). Closing date: 2 September 2026, 5pm.
Horizon School is a Pupil Referral Unit that supports schools and pupils in the northern area of Suffolk.
At Horizon School, we support young people who are finding it challenging to succeed in mainstream education. We offer short-term intervention placements to identify any barriers to them being able to engage positively in their mainstream school and support students with strategies to enable them to achieve their potential. We are now seeking to appoint a Lead Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Horizon School. Our current team of staff are highly committed to supporting our students to ensure they get as much as they can out of their education at Horizon School.
