We are offering an exciting opportunity for a talented insurance lawyer to join our Property Risks & Coverage Team. This role can be based in our Bolton office, with flexible working arrangements and location options including Birmingham, Bristol, or London.
The successful candidate will handle a variety of high-value coverage, liability, and subrogated property recovery files, typically exceeding £100K. Training and development in liability and policy coverage will be provided if needed. The role involves managing a case load related to Property Risks, dealing with perils such as fires, floods, impacts, and product liability, for well-known insurers. Additionally, this position requires managing a team of up to three lawyers, so leadership skills are essential.
This technical, client-facing role demands a well-rounded lawyer with a keen interest in building client relationships through training, mentoring, and delivering legal solutions to complex problems. The successful candidate will work closely with partners Paul Annesley and Jonathan Bingham in the Property Risks & Coverage team.
The team regularly conducts training seminars and workshops for insurer clients, and the ideal candidate will have experience in client development and a willingness to contribute to technical legal training.
