Job summary

Calibre Search is recruiting a Principal Landscape Architect in Manchester or Sheffield (Hybrid) with a salary from £50,000+ DOE. The role offers senior leadership, project ownership across residential, commercial, infrastructure and public realm sectors, and opportunities to mentor colleagues.

You'll deliver landscape design, planning and management services, lead multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships and contribute to business growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in Landscape Architecture or a relevant discipline.
• Chartered Membership of the Landscape Institute (CMLI).
• At least six years' relevant consultancy or professional experience, including post-chartership experience.
• Experience delivering and coordinating LVIAs, EIAs or other landscape planning assessments.
• A proven track record of project management, including financial and commercial responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of GLVIA guidance and landscape planning processes.
• Experience using AutoCAD, Vectorworks and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing landscape projects, including LVIAs and supporting EIAs.
• Managing multiple projects, programmes, budgets and fees.
• Acting as a key client contact and coordinating with planning authorities and multidisciplinary teams.
• Preparing, reviewing and quality-assuring technical reports and deliverables.
• Mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to business development.
• Preparing fee proposals and supporting bids and tenders.
• Identifying opportunities to grow client relationships and the landscape team.
