Job summary

Morson Edge is recruiting a Principal Landscape Architect to join their expanding Landscape Architecture team for a leading global multidisciplinary consultancy. You will lead the design and delivery of high-profile landscape projects across the UK and internationally, spanning urban regeneration, residential, infrastructure and environmental enhancement.

Qualifications

• Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute is required.
• Landscape Institute accredited degree in Landscape Architecture.
• Minimum three years' post-chartership experience in a consultancy environment.
• Experience delivering landscape architecture projects across multiple sectors.
• Strong project management including financial and programme management.
• Understanding of the UK planning system.
• Excellent technical design, report writing and construction detailing.
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of landscape architecture projects across diverse sectors.
• Develop landscape designs from feasibility to detailed construction information.
• Manage project programmes, budgets and commercial performance.
• Produce and review landscape drawings, reports, specifications and technical documentation.
• Administer construction contracts and support projects during delivery.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted technical advisor.
• Lead project meetings, workshops and client presentations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Mentor and support junior Landscape Architects, promoting technical excellence across the team.
• Contribute to business development and the continued growth of the Landscape Architecture team.
