Potters Resorts Five Lakes is seeking a Head Kitchen Porter to lead the Kitchen Porter team across two busy kitchens. You’ll help deliver high cleaning standards, support wash-up operations and foster a welcoming, collaborative environment.

Reporting to the Executive Head Chef, you’ll plan rotas, supervise the team, train new starters and address staffing concerns while ensuring COSHH rules and safety procedures are followed.

• Experience as a Kitchen Porter in a busy kitchen.
• Experience guiding colleagues or taking a supervisory step.
• A friendly, fair and approachable manner.
• Good organisation, clear communication and prioritisation.
• Reliability and attention to detail.
• Ability to carry out physical duties safely.

Mansioni

• Lead the Kitchen Porter team across two busy kitchens.
• Wash up, maintain high cleaning standards and oversee schedules.
• Plan rotas with the Executive Head Chef and supervise breaks.
• Welcome and train new starters; give constructive feedback.
• Raise staffing or performance concerns with the Executive Head Chef.
• Ensure hygiene, COSHH compliance and safe working practices.
• Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and PPE.
• Complete end-of-shift cleaning checks and hand over tasks.
