Emergn is seeking a Lead Java Full Stack Developer to build scalable, high-performance Java applications and provide technical leadership across teams. You will design, develop and maintain complex systems while ensuring alignment with best practices and business needs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Java development focusing on high-performance applications.
• Strong expertise in Spring, Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Experience with RESTful API development and front-end technologies (Angular/React).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in observability tools (New Relic).
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven leadership, project management and agile experience.

As a Lead Java Full Stack Developer at Emergn you will build scalable, high-performance Java applications. You design, develop and maintain complex, scalable, high-performance Java applications. You will provide technical leadership and make sure deliverables align with best practices and business requirements.

We want you to:

This job might be for you if you have:

• 8+ years of experience in Java development focused on high-performance applications, with strong expertise in Spring, Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Experience with RESTful API development and front-end technologies such as Angular and React, with solid Angular experience.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), including AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials, AWS Technical Essentials and AWS Solutions Architect Essentials.
• Knowledge of observability and New Relic, including New Relic Observability Foundations and Observability Practitioner.
• Proficiency in version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven experience in technical leadership, project management and agile methodologies, with clear communication of technical solutions.
• Claude Code experience and an agentic mindset.

You might also have:

• Experience in microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices.
• Advanced knowledge of database management (SQL, NoSQL).
