Job summary

Pracyva ltd is seeking a technical leader to guide a feature team and mentor junior engineers. You will own design and delivery, supporting target architectures, patterns, and scalable microservices in the public cloud environment, primarily using Java, Spring Boot/Quarkus, and REST APIs.

You will lead in a culture of innovation, promoting quality and efficient collaboration across engineering, and exploring AI-driven solutions to improve customer outcomes and engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering teams and delivering scalable services.
• Strong Java development background with modern frameworks.
• Cloud proficiency, especially GCP, in large-scale environments.
• Experience with microservices architecture and secure design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day line management and leadership within the feature team.
• Collaborate with product and engineering leads to realise the Lab's vision and outcomes.
• Drive robust, scalable, maintainable services underpinning customer experiences.
• Promote best practices: CI/CD, TDD/BDD, inner sourcing, and high-quality delivery.
