Job summary

Addition is partnering with an innovative technology-led organisation to appoint a highly experienced Principal Engineer to lead transformation of a complex Java estate and to champion containerisation and developer experience across teams.

You will replatform, refactor and rebuild legacy systems, ensuring integration with modern developer tooling and CI/CD pipelines while mentoring senior engineers and promoting engineering excellence across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive Java engineering experience across complex codebases.
• Deep containerisation experience with modern tooling.
• Proven track record replatforming and refactoring legacy systems.
• Strong CI/CD integration and developer tooling knowledge.
• Experience mentoring senior engineers and leading teams.
