Job summary

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks an experienced Clinical Embryologist to join the Department of Reproductive Medicine at James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough. You will lead embryology services, perform ART procedures and maintain high-quality standards in a busy IVF unit.

The role requires HCPC registration, NHS experience and strong ICSI expertise, with a commitment to patient care, audit, and working within a multidisciplinary team across sites within University

Qualifications

• Must be HCPC registered Clinical Scientist in Embryology.
• Experience with NHS and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven competence in ART embryo techniques.
• Experience with ICSI and semen analysis.
• Maintain ICSI log and results.

Responsibilities

• Assisted conception procedures, IVF, ICSI, IUI, audit, quality control, equipment monitoring and maintenance.
• Contribute to the Department of Reproductive Medicine MDT, attend and report at departmental meetings and represent the department externally.
• Provide a comprehensive embryology service and be an integral part of the laboratory team to ensure continued success and future-proofing.
