Job summary

DFP Recruitment Services in Hastings, ENG, seeks an experienced Lead Integrity Engineer to head critical asset integrity programs across the site. You will act as the focal point for fixed asset integrity, provide technical leadership, oversee inspection and corrosion management, and lead a team to deliver safe, compliant outcomes.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Materials Engineering, with substantial G&O experience in oil & gas or heavy industry.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical, chemical or materials engineering with relevance to integrity.
• Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, energy or heavy industry environments.
• Strong knowledge of FFS, RBI, corrosion and NDE practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrity programs for piping, pressure vessels and relief systems.
• Provide technical oversight to Operations and Maintenance teams.
• Conduct Fitness-for-Service assessments and integrity evaluations.
• Lead root cause investigations and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Manage change processes and repair recommendations.

Job description

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Lead Integrity Engineer to join a major energy operation and lead critical asset integrity programs across the site.
As the focal point for fixed asset integrity, you will provide technical leadership, oversee inspection and corrosion management programs, support operational reliability, and lead a team of engineers and technicians to deliver safe and compliant outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead integrity programs for piping, pressure vessels, corrosion management, and pressure relief systems
• Provide technical oversight and support to Operations and Maintenance teams
• Conduct Fitness-for-Service assessments and integrity evaluations
• Lead root cause investigations and reliability improvement initiatives
• Manage repair recommendations and Management of Change processes
• Drive integrity performance, compliance, and continuous improvement
• Mentor and lead engineers and technicians in a collaborative team environment

About You

• Degree qualified in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, or related Engineering discipline
• Experience within oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, or heavy industrial environments
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Fitness-for-Service (FFS)
  • Risk-Based Inspection (RBI)
  • Materials and corrosion engineering
  • Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE)
  • Pressure equipment integrity programs
• Sound understanding of AS, ASME, API, AMPP, and ISO standards
• Proven leadership, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
