Job summary

A leading engineering company is seeking a Lead Flow Assurance Engineer to be based in Aberdeen. This position involves providing specialist support during peak project periods in the energy sector. Key responsibilities include developing technical notes and reports alongside high-quality deliverables while ensuring compliance with various codes and standards. Applicants should have a degree in Chemical Engineering and significant industry experience, particularly in oil and gas or low carbon energy projects. Proficiency with OLGA, Pipesim, and Multiflash is also required.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree, honours or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or similar.
  • Likely Chartered Engineer status with the Institution of Chemical Engineers or equivalent.
  • Significant related experience in the Oil and Gas Industry and/or Low Carbon Energy Transition projects.

Responsibilities

Scope of Work

Kent is looking for a Lead Flow Assurance Engineer on Outside IR35 basis to be based in Aberdeen. This role is intended to provide ad‑hoc specialist support during peak project periods.

Key Requirements
  • Flow assurance deliverables will include technical notes, reports and models.
  • Main tasks to include steady state and transient modelling, and the provision of QA/QC on reports and flow assurance models.
  • Responsible for the delivery of high‑quality deliverables, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards and internal procedures.
  • Engineering degree, honours or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or similar.
  • Likely Chartered Engineer status with the Institution of Chemical Engineers or equivalent.
  • Significant related experience in the Oil and Gas Industry and/or Low Carbon Energy Transition projects.
  • Experience using OLGA, Pipesim and Multiflash.
