Job summary

The successful candidate will bring strong communication, regulatory knowledge of Pressure System Safety Regulations, and at least five years in engineering, with familiarity with NDT techniques and relevant standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in an Engineering role.
• At least two of the following ASME/API/EEMUA standards.
• Knowledge and application of NDT techniques.
• Ability to obtain UKAS RG2 Cat 2.

Responsibilities

• Experience in leading / supervising a team of inspectors.
• Client interfacing experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of inspection of Storage Tanks is desirable.

Job description

We are currently looking to recruit a Lead Inspection Engineer for our Inspection Department at one of our client offices in Aberdeen. As well as working within a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation, the successful candidate will enjoy structured training and career development in the field of Inspection.

This role is a full time position working, overtime may be required as part of the role.

Candidates should possess the following skills:

Essential

• Strong Communication Skills
• Knowledge & Experience of the application of the Pressure System Safety Regulations
• Minimum 5 years in an Engineering role
• At least two of the following ASME L2, API 510 / 570 / 653 or EEMUA 159
• Knowledge & application of NDT Techniques
• Knowledge of applicable industry standards
• Ability to obtain UKAS RG2 Cat 2

Desirable

• Experience in leading / supervising a team of inspectors.
• Experience of client interfacing role
• Knowledge / experience of the inspection of Storage Tanks
