Job summary

ScrumConnect Ltd is seeking engineers to support, maintain and optimise the BMC Helix platform suite including BHOM, BHCO and BH Discovery, delivering infrastructure engineering expertise and leadership to maximise value from the Helix implementation and support operational teams.

You will participate in the out-of-hours support rota, develop and implement Infrastructure as Code solutions, and help ensure service availability, stability and BAU resilience across DWP tooling.

Qualifications

• Experience with one or more of the listed technologies.
• Ability to provide technical leadership for BAU and strategic workstreams.
• Experience in infrastructure engineering and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational support for AutoSys Workload Automation estate.
• Maintain and optimise the BMC Helix platform suite.
• Contribute to out-of-hours support arrangements and improve team resilience.
• Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code solutions supporting Flexera SaaS integration.
• Provide engineering expertise and leadership to enable strategic workstreams while maintaining BAU services.
• Support service availability, stability and operational effectiveness across DWP tooling services.

Resources will provide infrastructure engineering expertise, platform support, service improvement activities and technical leadership to maximise value from the Helix implementation and support operational teams. Engineers will participate in the out-of-hours support rota.

Maintain operational support for the AutoSys Workload Automation estate.

Maintain and optimise the BMC Helix platform suite.

Contribute to out-of-hours support arrangements and improve team resilience.

Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code solutions supporting Flexera SaaS integration.

Provide engineering expertise and leadership to enable strategic workstreams to continue whilst maintaining BAU services.

Support service availability, stability and operational effectiveness across DWP tooling services.

Resources must possess demonstrable experience of one or more of the following technologies:

• AutoSys Workload Automation (WLA)

• BMC Helix Capacity Optimisation (BHCO)

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
